Turkey liver is a valuable by-product, which includes vitamins PP, D, A, E, K, C, B1, B2, B3, B5, B 6, B9, B12 and such microelements as zinc, chromium, phosphorus, selenium, sodium, copper, magnesium, cobalt, potassium andferrum.
It contains 16.4 g of fat (10 g more than in the chicken liver, for comparison), 17.8 g of proteins
(2 g less than in chicken) and 2.3 g of carbohydrates (per 100 g of product). Like many other types of liver, it contains a certain amount of folic acid, glucose, and nicotinic acid.
We supply a fresh product with organoleptic properties as follows:
irregular oval liver of uniform brown-red colour, with sharp edges;
nice smell of the liver;
firm texture, smooth surface with no blood clots.
Due to the high fat content, less foreign fat should be added to the products; it is not recommended for dietary nutrition and for the persons trying to lose weight. The high ferrum content provides 60% of the daily rate of this microelement for an adult when consuming 100 g of the product.
